H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to visit Beijing, China on 6 - 8 December 2023 to attend the 8th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting. The main agenda of the Meeting is to review the progress in MLC cooperation, discuss the future direction of cooperation, and prepare for the 4th MLC Leaders’ Meeting. In this regard, Thailand will take over from Myanmar the co-chairmanship of the MLC with China after the Leaders’ Meeting.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs will also have  bilateral meetings with H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, and other participating Mekong Foreign Ministers.
