On 26 October 2023, Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Director-General of American and South Pacific Affairs met with H.E. Ms. Ana Maria Prieto Abad, Ambassador of Colombia to Thailand, to discuss updates on issues related to Thailand – Colombia bilateral relations, especially on the 4th Meeting of Thailand – Colombia Bilateral Consultations, which will be hosted by Thailand in the framework of the 45th anniversary of Thai-Colombian diplomatic relations in 2024, consular matters and technical and cultural cooperation. The Meeting also agreed to expedite the negotiations of pending agreements so that they could be deliverables of the Bilateral Consultations.
