On 29 October 2023 H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, held a telephone conversation with H.H. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi side expressed appreciation to the Thai side for supporting the stance of the international community in the United Nations resolution calling for the immediate and sustained humanitarian truce in Gaza.

On this occasion, the two sides exchanged views on the situation in Israel, and expressed their concerns over the deteriorating conditions. H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand also discussed the status of the Thai nationals in Israel and ways and means to assist them.

Furthermore, both sides also disccussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations. Saudi side expressed its readiness to attend the Saudi - Thai Coordination Council to be held in Bangkok in January 2024 to further enhance the relation in all dimensions.
