I have learned with sadness and shock of the loss of lives and injuries caused by the cowardly and senseless shooting that occurred at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague on 21 December 2023.
In this moment of bereavement, please allow me to extend my profound condolences to Your Excellency and the people of the Czech Republic as well as the family and loved ones of the victims for their terrible loss.

It is with deep shock and sorrow to learn of this terrible tragedy at Charles University in Prague, on 21 December 2023, that has left the deaths of innocent people as well as the injuries on many others.
