On 3 December 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organized the ceremonies on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day at the Embassy Hall. H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan presided over the ceremony attended by the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Tokyo, along with their spouses. The Ambassador also delivered remarks honouring His Late Majesty’s extraordinary contribution to the country and to the Thai people.
After the ceremonies, the Ambassador led the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand, together with their spouses, and the Thai community in Tokyo to offer food to the monks and to participate in the Buddhist rituals which comprised chanting, meditation, and making a variety of offerings in order to dedicate the merits to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. This event was attended by approximately 100 participants.
