Mrs. Prangtip Kanchanahattakij, Charge d'Affaires, delivered a welcoming remark at the "Beyond Borders" Business Networking event took place at the Royal Thai Embassy Hall in Tokyo on October 24, 2023.

The "Beyond Borders" Business Networking event was organized by the Office of Commercial Affairs in Tokyo, the Royal Thai Embassy with the objective of supporting Thai entertainment companies in exporting Boys’ Love (BL) content dramas to Japan.

In the event, Thai BL drama’s content creators gave briefings about their business models and showcased teasers of their 2024’s BL dramas to the potential Japanese buyers. Moreover, representatives of Japanese buyers were invited to share their opinions on the Thai BL drama’s phenomenon in Japan.

The event successfully facilitated networking between the Thai-BL-content exporters and Japanese buyers from various platforms and provided them with an opportunity to exchange ideas and mutually discuss about future business opportunities.

The attendees also experienced the performance by BL artists from Star Hunter, KANTANA, TIA51, and 9NAA at the end of the event.
