On 10 December 2022, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, attended the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony at the Oslo City Hall. The 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony was the first full ceremony since COVID-19. The Nobel Peace Prize is presented by the chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee in the presence of Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Mari, members of the Norwegian government and parliament, including Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister, Mrs. Anniken Huitfeldt, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Masud Gharahkhani, President of the Storting, Mrs. Erna Solberg, former Prime Minister, diplomatic corps and invited guests.
 
The 2022 Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to human rights advocate Ales Bialiatski from Belarus, the Russian human rights organisation Memorial and the Ukrainian human rights organisation Center for Civil Liberties (CCL). Since 1901, the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony has been held on 10 December, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death and Human Rights Day. The Nobel Peace Prize is the only Nobel Prize awarded in Norway. The Nobel Prizes in the other fields are awarded in Sweden.
