Ambassador of Thailand to Norway attended the certificate giving ceremony on their participation in the 2nd training course under the project “Householder Dhammaduta on the Buddhist Way of Living in Overseas” at Wat Thai Norway

On 21 September 2023, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, and Ms. Chidchanok Anawatmongkon, Second Secretary, attended the certificate giving ceremony on their participation in the 2nd training course under the project “Householder Dhammaduta on the Buddhist Way of Living in Overseas”, held during 12-15 August 2023 at Wat Thai Norway. The training course was organized by Wat Thai Norway, together with Dhammaduta Collage, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and the Union of Thai Sanghas in Europe and attended by 50 participants, including Doctor Roongnapa Plaipetch and Thai associations in Norway such as the Thai Buddhist Association, Wat Thai Norway, Thai-Norway Language and Cultural Association and Thai Women’s Association in Norway, the Thai Music and Dance Club in Norway.

The training course emphasized that the role of householders is as important as the role of the Sanghas in the upholding of the teachings of Buddhism. The training course was also a part of merit making on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary. This project also corresponds with the Thai Embassy’s efforts on Dhamma Diplomacy.
