On 2 February 2024, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, and the Embassy’s officials, held a meeting with Mrs. Chanokamol P. Hjorth, Assistant to the head of Thailand NFE Learning Centre, Østfold, and representative of the Thai-Norway Language and Cultural Association, and Ms. Kanoknapat Suksong, representative of the Thai community in Norway. At the meeting, Mrs. Hjorth and Ms. Suksong presented pamphlet “Handbook for Thai Nationals Before Relocating to Norway”, as produced by Mrs. Hjorth, Mrs. Tassana Chantrasorn, Head of Thailand NFE Learning Centre, Østfold, and Ms. Suksong, as initiated by Ambassador Vimolbajra, which will provide useful information for new coming Thai expats in Norway.
 
“Handbook for Thai Nationals Before Relocating to Norway” will be available in digital format with QR code to scan which will facilitate the access to this information and reachable to wide ranging audience. The Embassy hopes that the “Handbook for Thai Nationals Before Relocating to Norway” will be useful for the Thai community in Norway especially to help Thai newcomers to integrate into the Norwegian society. This project is in line with the Embassy’s public diplomacy policy.
