On 6 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, had a fruitful meeting with H.E. Mr. Theodoros Michalopoulos, Director of A9 Directorate for Asia and Oceania, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. They exchanged views and agreed to work together closely to enhance bilateral relations in areas of mutual interests, such as trade and investment, tourism, and culture as well as cooperation within the United Nations' framework.

The discussion focused on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, with the aim to organise the 1st Bilateral Consultations between Thailand and Greece in the near future.
