The Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid Promotes Thai Gastronomy Through Cooking Demonstration

On 28 September 2023, Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, presided over the opening of the Thai food cooking demonstration at Escola Superior d'Hostaleria Vedruna Gràcia, Barcelona. The activity was organized by the collaboration of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid with Escola Superior d’Hostaleria Vedruna Gràcia and Casa Asia (an agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation of Spain) continuously for the second year in order to promote Thailand and Thai culture to the Spanish public.

The said demonstration was held in 2 sessions by Ms. Wipaporn Yoosomboon and Mr. Anucha Panikorn, chefs at the Ambassador's Residence, presenting 2 dishes, namely Tom Yum Seafood Fried Rice and Thai Pumpkin Custard. The participants included the students and faculty of the school (morning session) and the general public (afternoon session), a total of 50 persons.
