On 30 November H.E. Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Ambassador of Thailand to Senegal, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Kim Ji-joon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Senegal, on the occasion of assumption of duty. Both sides exchanged views and shared experience on implementing cooperation with Senegal, highlighting the success story of the South Korean Company that has invested in the canned tuna processing industry and exports to the US, as well as the cooperation on development between South Korea and Senegal in developing rice grain varieties that could tolerate extreme weather with high yields productivity which greatly contribute to the support of food security in remoted area in Senegal and the African continent.
