On 9 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary and Ms. Donlada Thongboon (Counsellor), paid a courtesy call on Mr. Ádám Stifter, Deputy State Secretary for Development of Eastern Relations, and Mr. Daniel Lorincz, Director General, Department of Fastest Developing Economies, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on the occasion of his assumption of duty as the Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary. The Ambassador thanks the Hungarian side for arranging the Presentation of Credentials for the Ambassador on 26 March 2024 and expressed satisfaction on the recent visit to Thailand by His Excellency Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on 19 March 2024. The Hungarian side provides information on the production of electronic vehicles, EV battery and nuclear power in Hungary. Both sides also exchange views on Air Asia’s plan to open a direct flight between Bangkok and Budapest.
