On 8 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with the Embassy’s officials and staff attended the Celebration Ceremony of the ASEAN Day 2023 jointly organised by the ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT), namely, Indonesia (the current ACAT chair), the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam at the Residence of Indonesian Ambassador. High-level guests at the Ceremony included H.E. Mrs. Maira Miroyanni, Secretary General for International Economic Affairs and H.E. Mr. Thoedoros Michalopoulos, Director of A9 Directorate for Asia and Oceania from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Ambassadors of Australia, India and the Republic of Korea, which are ASEAN’s Dialogue Partners, as well as Mr. Giorgios Panagopoulos, Mayor of Salamina. At the Ceremony, there were cultural performances from Indonesia and food stations by each ACAT country to showcase their national dishes.
