On 10 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, Ambassador of Norway to Thailand. Both sides welcomed the strong and dynamic ties between Thailand and Norway, particularly as this year marks the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

On this occasion, the Ambassador officially handed over a letter from H.E. Mr. Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, inviting the Vice Minister to participate in the Oslo Forum 2025 scheduled for 11 - 12 June 2025. The Forum serves as a key platform for global leaders, mediators and experts to engage in dialogue on conflict mediation and peace process, as well as addressing geopolitical tensions. Additionally, both sides also discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and global issues.
