On 21 April 2025, Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, hosted dinner in honor of H.E. Mr. Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

The State Secretary paid a visit to Thailand to attend the 81st Session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Also in attendance at the dinner were H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to Thailand, high ranking officials from the Ministry and participants of the course on “Diplomatic Training for New Diplomats from Mongolia.”

Earlier on the same day, Ms. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) delivered an opening speech and Ms. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), gave welcoming remarks to participants. The aforementioned course was organized by the DVIFA from 21 April to 3 May 2025, as part of the Two-year Thailand-Mongolia Development Cooperation Program (2024-2025) under TICA.
