On 2 - 3 September 2024, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), as the head of the Thai delegation, participated in the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships 2024 in Bali, Indonesia. This forum is an initiative by Indonesia to serve as a platform for partnerships and cooperation across various sectors to discuss efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. Leaders and senior officials from governments, businesses, civil society, academia, and international organizations were invited to attend the forum, which was held under the theme ”Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Development: Towards a Transformative Change.“

The TICA Director-General delivered an intervention expressing Thailand’s support for development cooperation through South-South Cooperation, Triangular Cooperation and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships across diverse sectors to unlock full potential of developing countries and achieve sustainable development goals during the High-Level Plenary Session titled "Building Bridges: Unlocking the Full Potential of the Global South through Multi-Stakeholder Partnership.

In addition, he also shared Thailand's experience and best practices in transitioning from a recipient country to an emerging donor country through TICA’s procedures, which support the development of a homegrown approach and emphasizes human security in 4 areas: (1) Job Security, (2) Health Security, (3) Food Security, and (4) Energy and Environment Security.
