On 2 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with Justice Antonio T. Carpio, former member of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, and a delegation from FACTS Asia, a Philippine think tank that supports public and foreign policies.

Both sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen ASEAN cooperation under the Philippines' upcoming ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026 and discussed various regional issues including the Thailand - Cambodia border situation, the situation in Myanmar and the South China Sea.
