On 23 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, to meet with Thai companies investing in the French Republic, in Paris.

The Deputy Prime Minister joined in discussions with high-level executives of Thai Union Europe, Indorama Venture, and Mud and Hound, to learn about recommendations, opportunities, and challenges of Thai companies doing business in Europe. They also discussed ways to promote Thailand - France economic cooperation in diverse dimensions, including accelerating the negotiations of the Thailand - European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA), promoting Thai brands in Europe through the EXIM Bank, and seeding further access to European markets.
