On 22 February 2025, Mr. Puwit Wisartsakul, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., together with Mrs. Apijaya Wisartsakul, his spouse, visited the Thai tourism promotion booth at the Danish Travel Show (Ferie for Alle Fair) 2025 at MCH Messecenter in Herning. The event is the largest travel fair in the Scandinavian region. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Stockholm Office participated in the fair, led by Mrs. Orn Duangchan, Director of TAT Stockholm Office, along with Thai traditional dancers from Thailand, Thai Airways Copenhagen Office, and Thai and Danish entrepreneurs. They jointly promoted and organized sales activities for tour packages to Thailand in the Thai booth area. The Thai booth also featured Thai dance performances and demonstrations of Thai arts and culture, such as demonstrations of painting Thai patterns on cloth bags and making Tung (Northern Thai decorative flags), which attracted a large number of attendees who were interested in visiting and inquiring about tour packages to Thailand. Additionally, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. and his spouse also enjoyed watching the Thai traditional dance performances on the main stage at the event, which received great attention from the audience.

In 2024, the number of Danish tourists traveling to Thailand was 138,278, an increase from 115,224 in 2023, or approximately 20%. Thailand continues to be a popular tourist destination for Danish people.
