On August 21, 2021, H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General, Ms. Nantaporn Laobooncharoen, Deputy Consul-General, a Consul and an officer from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, together with Ms. Saijai Waiyakruttha, President of the Thai Professional Culinary Club in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, attended the opening ceremony of Khun Chai Thai restaurant, Al Barsha Mall branch. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Hamad Al Zarooni and Mr. Artid Phoomthan (Chef Kai), partners and co-owners of the restaurant, and Mr. Nuruddeen Chedeng, Restaurant Manager and their staff.

 

On this occasion, the Consul-General co-presided the ribbon cutting ceremony with Mr. Hamad Al Zarooni, and Mr. Mubarak Salem Al Jallaf Almheiri, Properties Department Manager of Al Barsha Mall, and discussed on ways and means to promote Thai restaurants in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Khun Chai Thai restaurant at Al Barsha Mall is the second branch. The first one, located at Jumeirah 3 Road, has been opened since 2019. Both branches are open daily between 11.00-23.00 hrs. Food delivery service is also available through Dubai's leading food delivery applications.
