On 16 December 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a congratulatory call to H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
 
Foreign Minister Maris extended his congratulations to H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn on his reappointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia. He expressed his readiness to work closely with his Cambodian counterpart to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation, especially as the two countries prepare to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Thailand - Cambodia diplomatic relations in 2025.
