On April 13, 2025, Mrs. Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Consul General, Mrs. Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Deputy Consul General, Mrs. Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong, Consul, attended a preparatory meeting for “47th Annual General Meeting of the Council of Thai Bhikkhus in the U.S.A. for the year 2025 and the Buddhist Chanting Ceremony in Honor of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen,” which will be held from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at Wat Dhammaram in Chicago. The meeting was chaired by Phra Maha Samroeng Apassaro, the acting abbot of Wat Dhammaram.

The 47th Annual General Meeting of the Council of Thai Bhikkhus in the U.S.A. for the year 2025 is a collaborative event organized by Thai temples in Chicago, various Thai associations, and the Thai community in Illinois. the related schedule and detail information will be further announced in due course.
