On 26 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, presided over the Seminar on Work-Related Laws and Regulations for Thai Nationals Residing in Greece. The seminar, which was organised both on site at the Ambassador’s Residence and online via the Embassy’s Facebook Live Streaming, aimed at providing useful information on the basic laws and regulations on the rights, benefits and obligations for Thai nationals working in Greece. The seminar featured Ms. Anna Sfetsiou, Greek attorney, as the guest lecture and Ms. Rodjarin Mahongkhum, President of the Thai Association and Meditation in Greece, as the Greek-Thai interpreter. After the seminar, the Embassy hosted a luncheon for all the participants at the Ambassador’s Residence. 

The Embassy has successfully organised a series of seminars to provide legal information for Thai communities, namely the Seminars on Basic Laws and Regulations and on Business-related Laws and Regulations for Thai Nationals Residing in Greece in 2022 and 2023, and the Seminar on Basic Laws and Regulations for Thai Nationals Residing in Malta in 2024. All these efforts contribute to the empowerment of Thai communities as well as their potential enhancement so that they can live with dignity in an overseas environment.
