On 26 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, presided over a merit-making ceremony to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Opening of the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens at the Ambassador’s residence. The Embassy’s diplomats and staff, along with Thai nationals living in the Hellenic Republic and their families, participated in this auspicious event. Three Buddhist venerable monks were invited to give blessings in the merit-making ceremony.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Athens was officially established on 1 January 1985.  The Embassy is also accredited to the Republic of Malta and the Republic of Serbia.
