On 14 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kasemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, presided over the ceremony to receive a Buddha statue graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Ambassador’s Residence. The ceremony was attended by the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens. The Buddha statue was to be enshrined as a spiritual anchor and source of encouragement for Thai nationals and the Thai community living overseas.
