On 20 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with Mr. Raouf Mazou, Assistant High Commissioner for Operations, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), upon the latter's visit to Thailand.

 

Both sides were pleased with the close and long-standing cooperation between the Royal Thai Government and the UNHCR. The Assistant High Commissioner for Operations expressed gratitude for Thailand in taking care of, providing assistance, and seeking durable solutions for the different groups of displaced persons, as well as for Thailand's commitment in resolving statelessness. In addition, they also exchanged views on situations in the region and the changing global landscape of humanitarian assistance.
