On August 2, 2019, Consul-General Mungkorn Pratoomkaew attended a cultural event, “The Spirit of Asia,” organized by Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles. It showcased 9 cultural performances from South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines, in order to celebrate cultural diversity and inspire new friendships. There were approximately 150 audiences.

          Thai performance troupe were cultural instructors from Wat Thai Los Angeles. Their performances included Gala Dance (from the Northeast of Thailand), Manorah Dance, and Li-Kay Hulu (from the South of Thailand), which were crowd-pleasing because of their beautiful dresses and the upbeat music. After the show, the Thai performance troupe received certificates from the local authorities, and took pictures with the Consul-General.
