On 20 November 2019, H.E. Mr. Songphol Sukchan, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, gave the opening remarks at the  Thai Business Club Indonesia (TBCI) Dinner Talk: Business Opportunities and Challenges in Indonesia 2020-2024, organized by  TBCI at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta. The panelists included Mr. Gidion Hasan (Vice President Commissioner of United Tractor), Mr. Rino Donny Donosepoetro (CEO Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia), Mr. Aaron Nio, Director of Plug and Play, and Mr. Noory Okthariza (Researcher at Center for Strategic and International Studies: CSIS) and Mrs. Pattama Sirikul (President Director of SCG Indonesia) as the moderator. Participants shared their views on opportunities and challenges in Indonesia in the areas of finance, banking, fintech, and startups. There were also discussions on the future trends of the Indonesian economy as well as  the impact of the US-China trade war on the Indonesian economy. There were over 70 people in attendance.
