          On 31st July 2019, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam during the 52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting/Post Ministerial Conferences (AMM/PMC).
          Both sides aimed to advance the strategic partnership which was discussed during the 3rd Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation meeting held earlier in January this year. The ministers discussed various issues, namely  strengthening bilateral economic relations, enhancing financial cooperation, promoting sustainable fisheries as well as  advancing sub-regional connectivity. Both sides also took the opportunity to discuss regional issues and cooperation under the ASEAN frameworks.
