On 18 June 2019, by the invitation of Indorama, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland, visited the company’s plant in Włocławek. Indorama –   a Thai company – is the world’s no. 1 manufacturer of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) used for many industrial and consumer products. The Ambassador was warmly welcomed and received a briefing by Mr. Puneet Saini, Plant Director, Mr. Maciej Sioda, Sales Manager and their executives regarding the company’s profile, the plant’s operation and products, followed by a site visit of the plant. During the visit, they discussed and exchanged views on investment opportunities in Poland and potentials of Poland as a gateway for Central and Eastern Europe as well as EU markets. They also discussed the contributions and the vision of the company on circular economy which can play a significant role in enhancing global sustainability.

          Indorama has 101 sites in 31 countries in which PET production plants in Europe are located in Poland, Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania and Spain. The plant in Poland is in the process of expanding production capacity and expanding the plant area as well.
