The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to express appreciation toward members of Thai community in Western Australia for the warm hospitality and support extending to the Royal Thai Embassy’s mobile consular service which was held in Perth from 4-7 April 2019. The said mobile consular service included the issuing and renewing of e-passports, the issuance of temporary passport, renewing of Thai national ID Card and providing advice and answering enquiries on consular related matters. In addition, this mission also provided an opportunity for officers of the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra to reach out and meet the Thai community in remoted area of Western Australia and establish a network of communication in case of emergency through registration process of the Thais residing in Western Australia.

The mobile consular service in Perth was able to provide service as follows:

1. E-passport application 285 recipients.

2. Renewing Thai National ID Card 56 recipients.

3. Temporary passport application 7 recipients.

            Moreover, the Royal Thai Embassy officials also took this opportunity to meet with representatives of Thai community.

The Royal Thai Embassy will organize another mobile consular service in Hobart in late of May. Further details will be provided at the earliest opportunity.
