Message of Condolences from H.E. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, on the passing of H.E. Dr. Rodolfo C. Severino Jr., former Secretary-General of ASEAN:

We are very much saddened to learn of the passing of Ambassador Rodolfo C. Severino Jr. of the Philippines, former Secretary-General of ASEAN on Friday, 19 April 2019.

As a well-respected diplomat and a highly dedicated ASEAN Secretary-General, he has immeasurably contributed to the development of ASEAN during the crossover periods of an important world's timeline. His departure is a loss to the region. Our deep condolences go to Ambassador Severino 's bereaved family and beloved friends.

Note: H.E. Rodolfo C.Severino Jr. served as the 10th Secretary-General of ASEAN (1998-2002)
