On ๑๓ April ๒๐๑๙ H.E. Mr. Chainarong Keratiyutwong, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Arab Republic of Egypt, joined H.E. Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Mahrasawi, President of Al Azhar University, together with university executives and some representatives from foreign embassies to Egypt, in planting olive trees at the garden inside the University, at its central campus of Nasr City. The event was entitled "We will beautify Al Azhar" under the patronage of His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam Sheikh of Al Azhar.

Furthermore, H.E. the ambassador took this opportunity to express his appreciation on the University that organized the environment conservation event as well as his pleasure to be a part of the activity that will raise awareness among Al Azhar's students in preserving their environment.
