On 3 December 2018, Miss Nattanipa Burusapat, Charge d’ Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, officials and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a welcoming luncheon at Thai Restaurant Obcanska Plovarna for Mr. Chaiyapak Siriwat, President of Hockey Association of Thailand, and his delegation. The delegation travelled to Czech Republic to show support for the Thai National Team competing in the World Floorball Championships 2018 in Prague during 1-9 December 2018.

           Moreover, on 4 December 2018, the Embassy’s officials and staff attended the match between Thailand and Australia to show support to the Thai national team at the O2 Arena together with other fans of the two teams. More than 6500 people attended the game. The Thai national team is one of only 16 teams to participate in the World Floorball Championships 2018 and is one of the only three teams from Asia.
