On 1 November 2018  Ambassador Nantana Sivakua presented the letter of Credence to HE Sir Frank Kabui, Governor General of Solomon Island, as the non resident Ambassador of Thailand.  Later, Ambassador Nantana, together with Mr. Pawat Rungvichatron, Counsellor,  called on  Hon Rick Houenipwela, Prime Minister,  Hon. Milner Tozaka, Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade,  and Hon John Maneniaru,  Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources.   Ambassador also held a fruitful discussion with Mr. Collin Beck, Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, during which the two sides agreed to expand trade and investment cooperation.  The busy day ended with a delightful evening when Ambassador Nantana  hosted a dinner for members of the Thai community in  Honiera  who enthusiastically shared their good experiences living in this beautiful island.
