The team was able to provide service to 160 applicants, special thanks to NT Thai Association Inc., particularly Mrs. Kamontip Duanguam, Public Relation and Promotion/NT Thai Association Committee.
Minister Thippawan and the team also met with six “Young Smart Farmers Project” participants from Thailand at Tou’s Garden – the 1,500 acres mango farm owned by Mrs. Saramat Ruchkaew. The said project, initiated and collaborated by Department of Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation of Thailand and Northern Territory Farmers Association (NTFA), aims to provide a 3-month on-the-job training. It was also supported by the participated mango farm owners/entrepreneurs in Darwin. The project is for the young Thai farmers to learn best practices from successful farmers in Australia.
