On 23 June 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brasilia, in collaboration with Embassies of ASEAN Member States in Brasilia (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore and Viet Nam), organized ASEAN Food and Cultural Festival 2018 at the Embassy of Indonesia. The event consisted of cultural shows, ASEAN Fashion show, ASEAN quiz and booths in which each Member State promoted its food, tourism and products. For Thailand, Thai food such as Pad Thai, food ingredients as well as clothes were on sale. Mauy Thai from the Confederação Brasileira de Muaythai Tradicional was demonstrated during cultural show.                                  

            ASEAN Food and Cultural Festival 2018 was a big success with approximately 1,000 people attended. The event raised awareness on ASEAN and created positive image towards ASEAN among the public in Brasilia reflecting the multicultural dimension of ASEAN.
