On 22 June 2018 H.E. Mr Komate Kamalanavin, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates, presided over the opening ceremony of the Thai Night Market and Thai Night Street Food  which was jointly organized with the Thai Women’s Circle in Abu Dhabi.

          The objective to organize the Thai Night Market and Thai Night Street Food is to promote Thai food and culture to the Emiratis and the foreign community in the UAE.

          There were stands selling delicious and authentic Thai food. The Thai evening event also  included Thai cultural dances,  Muay Thai demonstration from Abu Dhabi Muay Thai Gym. It was a successful event which was much appreciated  by the locals, expats and members of the Thai community with more than 800 persons turned up to participate .
