On Friday 25 May 2018 at 18.00 hrs. the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Royal Thai Consulate General in Dubai co-hosted a Buddhist ceremony to mark the occasion of Visakha Bucha Day at the Royal Thai Embassy. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Komate Kamalanavin, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates. The religious ceremony was conducted by two representatives of Thai community in Abu Dhabi, namely Mrs. Buaban C Tucker and Mrs. Vimonnat Tatarirsator.

          The activity was attended by Mr. Rangsant Srimangkorn, Deputy Consul-General, Royal Thai Consulate General in Dubai, Ms. Sunaree Kongsatid, Consellor at the Thai Labour Office, diplomats and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, as well as the members of Thai community and foreigners who reside in the United Arab Emirates.
