           On 15 May 2018, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of Thailand, participated as a panelist in a discussion on “The ASEAN-European Union Economic Co-operation Forum” during the 10th European Economic Congress (EEC) which was organized during 14-16 May 2018 in Katowice. Other panelists from ASEAN Committee in Warsaw (ACW) were Ambassadors and a representative of ASEAN Embassies, together with representatives from the Polish government that is Mr. Pawel Milewski, Director of the Asia-Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Marcin Roszkowski, Head of Foreign Trade Office in Jakarta (Polish Investment and Trade Agency - PAIH).  Ambassador Sahussarungsi, in the capacity of the current ACW’s Chair, did the presentation on the overview of ASEAN Community and also presented on the economic potentials of Thailand, as well as the prospect and direction of Thai economy under the policy “Thailand 4.0” and business opportunity for foreign investors in particular under the project of “Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)” The forum which was considered the first-time ASEAN session in the EEC agendas attracted more than 90 audience.  The 3-day event of EEC this year welcomed more than 11,000 visitors including both the executives from private sectors and high-level officials in the Polish government, namely Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki who also attended to deliver a keynote address, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minsters from many Ministries taking part as special panelists in different forums.
