On 16 May 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the Royal Decoration Ceremony in front of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s portrait for the Embassy’s officers at Sala Thai.  The Royal Decorations, namely Knight Grand Cordon (First Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand was bestowed upon Mrs. Nantana Sivakua, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, and Knight Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand was bestowed upon Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Minister as well as Captain Pitak Niyaso, RTN, Naval Attaché.   

          Afterward, the Embassy organized the Royal Decoration Ceremony for Mrs. Amanda-Jane Giannopoulos, Honorary Consul of Thailand to South Australia and Northern Territory, who received the Royal Decoration of the Companion (Fourth Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand for her dedication in performing the consular duties and promoting relationship between Thailand and Australia.
