Ambassador of Thailand paid a working visit to Gdansk during 1-2 March 2018

          During 1-2 March 2018 H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Poland paid a working visit to Gdansk in Pomeranian Province. During which, Ambassador Sahussarungsi paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Dariusz Drelich, Governor of the Pomeranian Province, on the occasion of her assumption of duty. They discussed and exchanged views on the economic status and potentials of which Thailand and Poland share in common, leading the way to a plenty of prospect cooperation, such as trade, investment in infrastructure, and tourism. Besides, with a strategic location we both share in the respective region, Thailand and Poland can serve as a logistics hub and gateway to each other’s region. Furthermore, Ambassador Sahussarungsi met with the CEO of Gdansk Port Authority SA and had a study visit to the Gdansk Port area. Gdansk Port is considered one of the biggest and major deep sea ports in Baltic Sea which accommodates the shipment of products from Asia to be distributed to the Central and Eastern Europe.
