          On 20 February 2018, Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Royal Thai Embassy, together with Group Captain Angkharn Indra, Defence and Air Attaché, Colonel Nithi Chungcharoen, Army Attaché, and Captain Pitak Niyaso, Navy Attaché organized the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day 2018 at Sala Thai, Royal Thai Embassy.  More than 150 guests attended the reception including ACM Mark Binskin, Chief of the Australian Defence Force as Guest of Honour, Vice Admiral Tim Barrett, Chief of the Royal Australian Navy, representatives of the Chiefs of the Australian Air Force and Army, senior officers and defence attaché (SAAG’s members) and the diplomatic corps. 
           There was a video presentation about the Royal Thai Armed Forces.  Chargé d’Affaires a.i. gave a speech on the cordial relationship between Thailand and Australia, especially in defence cooperation, and proposed a toast to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the people of Australia, the Australian Defence Force and the long-lasting friendship between the two countries. The Chiefs of the Australian Defence Force also gave a speech and proposed a toast to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun and the people of Thailand.  Lastly, Thai Defence and Air Attaché gave a speech about the significant of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day.
           Thai foods and desserts were served at this event.
