Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of  the Kingdom of Thailand, and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will organize the 3rd TICA Connect under the theme "Building Bridges for Global Sustainable Development: The Way Forward of Thailand - Japan Partnership for SDGs" on 15 September 2017 from 13.00 – 16.30 hrs. at Vithes Samosorn Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. H.E. Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Shiro Sadoshima, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, will preside over the event, which will include the following activities:

          1. Signing Ceremony of TICA – JICA Partnership Arrangement

          2. VDO Presentation on “Four Decades of Japan – Thailand Partnership”

          3. Opening Show “Muay Thaishi”

          4. Keynote Speeches on “Thailand – Japan Partnership for SDGs”

          5. Panel Discussion on “Thailand – Japan: Human Resource Development for Achieving SDGs”

          This event aims to promote Thailand’s initiatives towards cooperation on sustainable development especially between TICA and JICA, and to share Thailand’s expertise and experiences on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), agricultural, education and health.

          TICA Connect is a platform for Thailand and other countries to exchange knowledge and understanding on cooperation in sustainable development which is essential in promoting Thailand’s involvement on the international level.
