The latest ballistic missile test conducted by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 29 August 2017 posed a danger to all people living in the Korean Peninsula. This is a setback to all relevant UNSC Resolutions and the efforts of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) held in August 2017 in creating an environment conducive to dialogues that could lead to a peaceful solution.    

          Thailand strongly urges the DPRK to halt any future provocative actions and that all concerned parties should engage in constructive dialogues for the achievement of sustainable peace and stability in the region.
