          Upon the invitation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, accompanied by Thailand’s Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers from concern authorities, will pay an Official Visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia and lead the Delegation for the 3rd Thailand – Cambodia Joint Cabinet Retreat in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 7 September 2017. 
          The Official Visit and the 3rd Thailand – Cambodia Joint Cabinet Retreat will take place in the morning of Thursday 7 September 2017 at the Peace Palace, during which the two Prime Ministers along with Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and Senior Officials will discuss a wide array of key bilateral issues 
of mutual interests, covering political and security, economic and social aspects. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will greatly emphasize on strengthening and enhancing cooperation in (1) border development (2) labour (3) trade and investment (4) connectivity and (5) regional and international framework.
          Samdech Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of Cambodia, will host an official lunchoen in honour of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Thai Delegation.
          In the Afternoon, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will pay courtesy call on Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate and acting Head of State of the Kingdom of Cambodia.  The Prime Minister will also lay wreath at the Late King – Father of Cambodia, Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh Monument. Later on, the two Prime Ministers will preside over the opening ceremony of the Cambodia – Thailand Friendship Garden which is located in the heart of Phnom Penh.
          During the official visit and the Joint Cabinet Retreat, the two Prime Ministers are expected to witness the signing of two documents: namely, (1) Joint Declaration for the 3rd Thailand – Cambodia Joint Cabinet Retreat which is to reaffirm both countries commitment to promote “Enhanced Partnership for Peace and Prosperity” and (2) Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation which is expected to further encourage cross national economic activities.
