On 6 November 2016, Phra Dhammamongkolyarn (Luang Por Viriyang Sirintharo) presided over the annual Kathina ceremony at Ratchadhamviriyaram 1 Temple in Ottawa. On this auspicious occasion, Ms. Dao Vibulpanich, Chargé d'Affaires, and Mrs. Wannipa Isarabhakdi, spouse of the Ambassador, represented Ambassador Vijavat Isarabhakdi at the ceremony along with officials of the Royal Thai Embassy. Devoted Buddhists from Thailand and here in Canada gathered at the temple to offer Kathina robes, pay respect to Luang Por Viriyang, and make merit together.
