            On 26 October 2016, H.E. Mr. Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol, Ambassador of Thailand to Brazil hosted a monthly gathering and the luncheon for Asia-Oceania Ambassadors at the Royal Thai Embassy, Brasilia. H.E. Mr. Blairo Maggi, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil (MAPA) as the honorable guest speaker delivered a special presentation on Brazil’s Agribusiness Overview.   
            H.E. Mr. Blairo Maggi highlighted the growth Brazil’s agricultural products, agricultural exports share 21.5 % of the national GDP with an increase of 49.9% in 2016. The main export products are chicken, coffee, sugar and corn. He also reiterated that the Brazilian government attached great priority on the international market, including Asia.     
            The lecture of the Brazilian Minister of MAPA to Asia Oceania Ambassadors has shown a positive signal in increasing and upgrading economic relations between Brazil and the Asian community, including Thailand, particularly in the field of agribusiness.
