On 24 October 2016, H.E. Mr. Tony Tan Keng Yam, President of the Republic of Singapore and spouse  laid a wreath to honor and paid respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall inside the Grand Palace and signed a message of condolences.
